Includes two volumes pertaining to Edmund Physick's work as agent for John Penn (1729-1795) and John Penn (1760-1834). Documents the construction of the Penn family mansion, Lansdowne, on the Schuylkill River, Pa. Also includes four volumes documenting the estates of brothers James and Robert Bremner; a receipt book belonging to Parry Hall; an order-book (1821-1822) of the USS Dolphin (Schooner) kept by David Conner; and a fragment of an 1829 logbook of the USS Erie (Sloop of war).
