ALS (Astrakhan, Russia; 1820 June 4) written by Abercrombie to an unidentified individual relating chiefly to Christian affairs.

Printer. Circassian originally named Teoona who was purchased from his Muslim parents to be raised as a Christian by a family of Scottish missionaries to the Caucasus region of Russia. He was baptized as John Abercrombie because his purchase was made by the Scottish physician, John Abercrombie (1780-1844).
