Also includes material pertaining to architecture in Colonial Williamsburg, Va., and Dearstyne's pursuit of photography as a serious art form. Includes a typescript of Shadows in silver; a record of Virginia, 1850-1900, in contemporary photographs taken by George and Huestis Cook, coauthored by Dearstyne and A. Lawrence Kocher (1954), and a draft of Dearstyne's posthumously published work, Inside the Bauhaus (1986).
