Civil War letters written by Brincklé to family members while he served with the 5th Delaware Artillery Regiment, journal and diary (1865), letters (1866-1868) written while stationed at Fort Barrancas (Fla.) in which Brincklé remarks on the yellow fever epidemic, and a biographical sketch (1936). Also includes newspaper clippings, photographs, and printed materials concerning the regiment, and several Civil War letters and papers of Samuel Crawford Brinklé relating to his service as a surgeon in the Union Army.
