ALS (1777 May 3) from Timothy to an unknown recipient commenting on economic conditions in South Carolina during the Revolution and containing a transcript of a letter (1777 March 31) from George Washington to John Hancock relaying intelligence reports on British naval maneuvers in New York; together with a resolution (1779 September 7) of the South Carolina House of Representatives that a medal be struck to honor Jacques, vicomte de Chambray.
