Includes editor's transcript, setting copy, corrected galleys, map used for end papers, clippings, and printed matter. The diaries include records of Ciano's meetings with Benito Mussolini, Adolf Hitler, Joachim von Ribbentrop, foreign ambassadors, and other political figures during World War II. Subjects include fascism, international politics and relations, and Italy's participation in World War II.
