Also documents his service as naval attaché to London, England, in 1941; and Lockwood family affairs. Documents the development of the submarine as an effective military weapon and includes technical data on electric-impact switches, hydraulic doors, night periscopes, radar and sonar instruments, and trial runs of submarines equipped with these devices.
