His punishment, say the gods, is the sacrifice of his daughter, Iphigenia. Agamemnon sends for Iphigenia with a message that she will marry the great soldier Achilles. Iphigenia arrives for the wedding, accompanied by her mother, Clytemnestra--and the tragic story begins to unfold
