For this edition, plates appear to have been trimmed; some images are reversed, some captions switched; a few images may be reprintings from trimmed but otherwise unaltered original plates. Cf. Sadeler's Trophaeum vitae solitariae, Venice, 1598, LCCN 25-2646, and Oraculum anachoreticum, Venice, 1600, LCCN 25-2645. Each part has engraved t.p. No general t.p. Some plates signed: I.
