<br/><br/> In verse.  The book consists of J. Sylvester's translations of Du Bartas's "La semaine". Fragments and other small works: La Noue's "Paradoxe", Du Faur's "Quatrains"; with other sonnets and dedications.  This issue has no imprint on the t.p.; imprint from T2r t.p.  The parts are continously paged and several have separate title pages, dated 1605.  Signatures: A-2V⁸ 2X⁸(+2X*⁴(-2X*4)) 2Y-3A⁸.  LC copy imperfect: A1 (t.p.) wanting and replaced by typescript; B8 bound in before A2. Two conjunct leaves, one marked "A6" appear to have been taken from a copy of STC (2nd ed.) 21649a.5 (1606), and are bound in between A4 and A5. Leaf B1 differs from the Scholars' Facsimiles & Reprints (1965) reprint; B1 recto is blank, except for the signature mark; B1 verso's heading reads: A catalogue of the order of the bookes in this volume.
