Transcripts of oral history interviews with former members of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate. Several interviews were prepared by a person or organization other than the Former Members of Congress, Inc., but were selected by the latter for inclusion in this collection. Part II consists of transcripts as well as biographical files used as background material and an administrative file relating to the oral history project which was known as The Modern Congress in American History.
