Correspondence (1855-1881), diaries, photographs, printed matter, and other papers of Greble, his wife Susan Virginia Major Greble, their sons Edwin Greble of Pasadena, Calif., and John Trout Greble, a Union Army officer who was killed early in the Civil War, and Mary Leavenworth Dreer, a relative. Includes microfilm copy of 14 letters, chiefly from the Civil War period, from Greble to his wife. Principal correspondent is Benson John Lossing, biographer of John Trout Greble.
