Includes drafts, galleys, and proofs of Ships in the Sky: the Story of the Great Dirigibles (1957); the Battle, the Story of the Bulge (1959, later reissued as Battle of the Bulge), a history the German offensive in the Ardennes region of Belgium, France, and Luxembourg towards the end of World War II; But Not in Shame: the Six Months after Pearl Harbor (1961), a study of the war in the Pacific; The Dillinger Days (1963), a study of gangsterism in the 1930s focusing on the Dillinger gang; The Flying Tigers (1963), the story of Claire Lee Chennault's World War II flying squadron serving in the Chinese Air Force (China. Kong jun. American Volunteer Group); and The Last 100 Days (1966), an account of the destruction of Nazi Germany and the fall of Berlin.
