Includes drafts of "Admiral Ambassador to Russia" (1955) and Standley's autobiography "Admiral Standley, Early Life and Naval Career." Papers chiefly concern Standley's interest in U.S. naval power in the 1930's; his concern with U.S. relations with Germany in 1940 and with the Soviet Union after World War II; and his involvement in anti-Communist organizations in the 1950s.
